Love Island's Millie and Liam's relationship timeline
Love is back in the air for these two!
Despite a few hiccups in the Love Island villa (mainly thanks to Casa Amor), Essex beauty Millie Court and Welsh hunk Liam Reardon proved they really are the real life Gavin & Stacey making things official and going on to win series 7 of the popular ITV2 show.
However, despite discussing future proposals and children and moving in together, Millie and Liam shocked fans on 13th July 2022, announcing they'd decided to split. But fast-forward a year and the pair are dating again, giving their relationship another go!
Now that the pair have been spotted holding hands at the UK premiere of Barbie and recently enjoyed a trip to Orlando, we take a look back at their relationship timeline:
Liam enters the Love Island villa as a bombshell
Alongside Chuggs and Rachel, Liam entered the Love Island villa just days after the launch show as one of the first bombshells of the series.

Liam quickly stole the attention of original Islander Faye when he arrived as a bombshell, with Faye choosing to couple up with the Welsh hunk over both Hugo and Brad.

Just four days after Liam's arrival, Millie entered the villa alongside Lucinda as the next bombshells.

Despite new arrival AJ expressing interest in Liam, the Welsh hunk stuck with his partner Millie, with the pair recoupling for the second time.

The infamous Casa Amor stage of the competition arrived, with Liam heading off to the second villa with a bunch of new girls, and Millie staying in the main villa with a group of new boys.

Whilst Millie was remaining loyal to her man in the main villa, Liam shocked viewers by enjoying a number of kisses with new girl Lillie, as well as sharing a bed with her and discussing feelings.

Despite his antics over at Casa Amor, Liam decided to return back to the main villa single, with a delighted Millie sat waiting for him.
However, things were about to take another dramatic turn...

After being pied off despite their 'connection' at Casa Amor, Geordie girl Lillie made her feelings felt, dishing the dirt on Liam's actions to the group in the main villa.

Although Lillie didn't make it into the main villa following her time at Casa Amor, bosses decided to invite her back for a one-on-one chat with Millie, where the girls discussed Liam's behaviour.

Following her chat with Lillie, a devastated Millie decided to cool things off with Liam, with Liam being forced to sleep in the 'dog house', despite admitting he wouldn't give up on trying to put things right.
Liam declares his feelings for Millie in front of the group
Following a surprise performance from pop star Mabel, Liam took to the stage to declare his feelings for Millie, in front of the rest of the Islanders.
He said: "You blew me away with your flawless looks, piercing blue eyes, infectious smile and amazing personality that draws me to you.
"It's the way you make me smile without even saying anything that brings me back for more.
"I didn't expect to come to Love Island and find a potential soulmate so early on but I've found that and so much more in you. I've never been one to have boxes that need ticking, it's all about how someone makes me feel. I've never felt this way before...."
Millie and Liam make up and look stronger than ever
Putting the past behind them, Millie and Liam made up much to the delight of fans, with the pair looking stronger than ever going into the final two weeks of the show as an 'exclusive' couple.

OK, so not quite! But Millie and Liam did experience what their future could be like as they looked after their 'son' Jackson for the day. The pair sailed through the challenge showing their parenting skills.

In the final week of series seven, Millie and Liam were whisked away to a stunning castle for their final date, with both of them looking sensational as they said "I love you" for the first time.

In emotional scenes, Millie's mum and sister arrived into the villa alongside Liam's mum and dad. After spending time with their loved ones individually, Millie and Liam introduced each other to their families.

During their interview with host Laura Whitmore ahead of the final result, Liam asked Millie to be his official girlfriend, of course, she said yes!
Millie and Liam are crowned the Love Island winners
With a massive 42.02% of the vote, Millie and Liam were crowned the Love Island 2021 winners ahead of Chloe and Toby, Faye and Teddy, and Kaz and Tyler.
The pair decided to split the £50,000 prize money.
Millie and Liam discuss proposals and babies
After winning the show, Millie and Liam chatted to Love Island bosses where they discussed a future proposal and babies.
Millie said: "The proposal is going to have to be massive", with Liam adding: "It's going to be huge. I'm sure I can pull it out of the bag. I'm sure I can do it."

After self-isolating apart when they arrived back in the UK, Millie and Liam reunited in Essex, enjoying a romantic night out together before meeting up with their Love Island co-stars.

Just days after admitting she was 'dating' somebody, rumours were rife that Millie and Liam had decided to give their relationship another go in April 2023. Reports suggested the pair were dating and enjoyed a trip to the Lake District together over the Easter weekend.

Are Millie and Liam from Love Island back together?
Reports first started to swirl that the couple had chosen to give their relationship another go around Easter weekend, when they spent the weekend together in the Lake District.
A source told Mail Online in April 2023: “They weren't expecting to get back together after their breakup was so painful for them both, but months have passed, and they still couldn't stop thinking about each other.
“Coming out of Love Island was a whirlwind and now they're just looking to take things slowly and see if they can rebuild their relationship, which may take some time.”
The rumours arrived just days after Millie confirmed on her YouTube page that she was dating somebody, despite not revealing his identity.
Then, in May, the pair posed for a cute photo together alongside singer Jessica Kate Yallup, whilst on a Virgin Voyage cruise.

Since then, the pair haven't been shy in posting loved-up photos together on social media, confirming they are well and truly back together.
Why did Millie and Liam from Love Island split?
On Wednesday 13th July 2022, Millie shared a statement to her Instagram Story, revealing the pair had parted ways.
She told fans: 'Hi everyone, to avoid any speculation Liam and I wanted to share with you that we have separated. It's been a tough decision and I am gutted but it's ultimately what is best for us right now. Thankyou to every single one of you for supporting out relationship.
'Nothing will ever take away from the amazing experience we shared in Love Island and the past year, and I wish Liam all the best in everything he does. We're both ready for new chapters and I'm excited for what's next. Love Millie.' (sic)
