Ed Sheeran seemingly confirms Netflix's Red Notice sequel 👀

We caught up with Ed Sheeran ahead of his amazing performance at Hits Live Liverpool on Friday 19th November, where the singer somewhat confirmed to Fleur, James and Matt that popular Netflix film Red notice would be getting a sequel! Ed's short but sweet cameo in the film had us all laughing, so we can't wait to see if he pops up again in the next film.

The 30-year-old joined an epic line-up of artists, which included the likes of The Script, Mimi Webb, Mabel, Becky Hill, Joel Corry, Tom Grennan and Ella Henderson at the M&S Bank Arena Liverpool for the event.

After James told Ed: "I was very surprised to see you in Red Notice" Ed went on to explain how he ended up landing his cameo, saying: "Nor did I to be honest. It's totally out of the blue.

"Rawson, who made the film, is really good friends with the guys that make Game of Thrones. And Dan, who made Game of Thrones, emailed me being like, 'I want to hook you up with this guy Rawson who's doing a film with Gal Gadot, Dwayne the Rock Johnson'."

Of course, Ed couldn't turn down the role, and then went on to seemingly CONFIRM that the film would be getting a sequel! After James teased Ed for being a "diva" in his scene, the singer responded: "Well, I'm hoping that it's going to turn into like a Mike Tyson in the Hangover thing.

"They're going to do a sequel, so I'm hoping that at some point I get brought back to be even worse."

As the gang laughed about Ed's hilarious cameo in the recent movie, the 'Shape Of You' legend even revealed that there were even "funnier" lines considered for his short stint in the film - including: "I'll have you killed!"

So there we have it! Red Notice, the film that is thought to be Netflix's most expensive yet, look like it will be getting a sequel - and thankfully, Ed is pretty keen on appearing in that one too!

That's not all Ed dished the dirt on as we caught up with him at Hits Live Liverpool, with the 'Bad Habits' singer also exclusively classic videos he has parodied in the music video for his Christmas song with Elton John!

Despite not having an official release date for the new single just yet, Ed did confirm that fans will be able to hear it in about two weeks time! Can't wait 🙌
