Wes Nelson joins Clean Bandit on stage at Hits Live 😮

Clean Bandit joined us for Hits Live Liverpool 2022 and brought out a very special guest in the form of Love Island star and singer Wes Nelson! Wes and the band released their banger with Topic, 'Drive' last year and we were so excited to see them perform it live in Liverpool.

The song was a massive hit here in the UK reaching Number 5 in the dance chart.

Backstage, Grace Chatto told us how the huge collab came about. Admitting she'd never seen Love Island, the cellist said: "I was a fan of Wes' music, especially 'See Nobody', I was obsessed with and 'Nice to Me You', I was listening to it all the time and around the time when we started writing 'Drive', and then we just called him and he heard it, and literally came in the next day and recorded it!"

Clean Bandit also performed their massive hits 'Symphony', 'Rockabye' and 'Rather Be' on stage in Liverpool.

They joined the epic line-up for Hits Live Liverpool, which took place on Friday 20th May 2022. Along with the 'Rockabye' legends, the line-up included Anne-Marie, James Bay, Tom Walker, Jax Jones, Joel Corry, Becky Hill and George Ezra.
