P!nk shares emotional video for new song 'When I Get There'
It's a tribute to her late dad 😢

Following a moving post about her new song 'When I Get There', which is about her late dad, P!nk has shared the lyric video for her song, which features some emotional clips of her with her dad, as both a child, and adult.
The 'Trustfall' singer shared details of the new song on Valentine's Day, celebrating her love for her late dad using the hashtag: '#hewasmyfirstvalentine'.'

Watching the video, fans have been left feeling emotional with one writing: 'I knew as soon as I saw the opening bit that this would make me cry' and another saying: 'I lost my dad in July 2022... I've not cried like this since his funerals... I needed this. Thank you ❤️'.
Taking to Instagram, the singer shared clips from the lyric video, showing her parents on their wedding day, along with clips of herself when she was just one-year-old.
The video was captioned: 'Sometimes love leaves us too soon. On Valentine’s Day- I cherish the love I have that I can touch- and the love I have in my heart for those who have gone on to the next adventure. This one’s for you, Daddy Sir. ❤️ #whenigetthere #trustfall #hewasmyfirstvalentine'.
It begins with her dad narrating: "I thought it would be nice if you had some memories of how it all began and where you all came from, and some of the memories through the years.
"It will always be so important to all of us. There's Alecia (P!nk). It was her first birthday."
As the video plays, the lyrics from P!nk's new song flash up on screen saying: 'I think of you, when I think about forever... I hear a joke, and I know you would'a told it better.' (sic)
Since sharing the preview clip fans have been quick to comment on it, and the moving video. One fan wrote: 'Most beautiful tribute 🙏🏻 ❤️', with another saying: 'So beautiful. My mum died a couple of days ago. This hits at the core 💜💜💜'.
Another admitted they were surprised, but said it was very moving: 'this was so unexpected although it’s very you to be very honest about your feelings in your songwriting but i didn’t expect you to open the album so honestly and with a raw ballad. from both an emotional and a musical standpoint you are surprising and always movingly honest ❤️'. 'When I Get There' is the first track on P!nk's album 'Trustfall', which also features her songs 'Never Gonna Not Dance Again' and the title track 'Trustfall'.
P!nk's album 'Trustfall' featuring 'When I Get There' was released on Friday 17th February.
