EXCLUSIVE: RAYE says she almost threw away new tune 'Regardless'
It's a collaboration with dance legends Rudimental

RAYE has released the new music video for ‘Regardless’ which is produced by Rudimental and is the sixth single off her debut mini-album ‘Euphoric Sad Songs’.
Speaking about the new song to Jordan Lee on Hits Radio, RAYE admitted she almost threw it away before working with Rudimental on the track.
RAYE said: “I’ve been writing the song itself for quite a while and I was almost going to give up on it. I’m so glad I didn’t.”
“One of the hardest things in music is getting the perfect finishing, the perfect touch and the perfect close for the song but these lads smashed it first time and saved the song. I’m so happy.”
The collaborative track is featured on RAYE’s debut mini-album ‘Euphoric Sad Songs’ which was released in November last year and also includes the songs: ‘Love Me’, ‘Please Don’t Touch’, ‘Secrets’, ‘Natalie Don’t’ and ‘Love of Your Life’.
The London-born singer songwriter said she was incredibly happy with the reaction to her first mini-album.
“You know what, it’s been so overwhelming, how well it has been received and the many thousands of messages I have got from people who have said ‘I needed this’.
“Being able to turn my own heartbreak and pain into something real and something physical that people can listen to and go through their own pain, this is why we do what we do.”
In the past, RAYE has worked with artists including: Little Mix, Ellie Goulding and Charli XCX but is now looking forward to her next solo project.
“I’m ready to work on the next project. I think I’m going to just make an album now. I’m so excited and full of life and inspiration”
