Sam Smith drops new song 'I'm Not Here To Make Friends'

Today is a big day for Sam Smith, not only does the BRIT Award nominee release the eagerly-awaited album 'Gloria', they've also dropped a new song called 'I'm Not Here To Make Friends'.
The new song is the follow-up to 'Gimme' with Koffee and Jessie Reyez, which was released earlier this month, and is also featured on their new album.
When did Sam Smith announce their new song?
Sam first announced 'I'm Not Here To Make Friends' on Wednesday 25th January, and confirmed the music video would be released at 6pm on Friday 27th.

The music video for the song will be released at 6pm today (Friday 27th January), in the meantime, Sam has shared a few clips on Instagram. We can't wait to see it in full!
The hedonistic music video was directed by Tanu Muino, who has worked with Lil Nas X, Harry Styles, and Normani. In the preview for the video, Sam can be seen dressed in a custom-made pink outfit, arriving in a gold helicopter and being greeted by a Bacchanalian-inspired celebration.
