Lucien Laviscount confirmed as series regular on Emily In Paris

Former Waterloo Road actor Lucien Laviscount was a much-loved addition to the second series of hit Netflix series Emily In Paris, as the heartthrob played the role of Emily's new love interest Alfie.
And although technically speaking Emily (played by Lily Collins) and Alfie ended series two together, it was unclear if Lucien would be returning as a regular character for the next two confirmed series.
Well, we have amazing news for you, as it's now been confirmed Lucien will be back for series three!
The exciting news was announced by the show's creator Darren Star and main actress Lily Collins at the PaleyFest panel discussion over the weekend.
Lucien joined the panel alongside Darren, Lily and other cast members such as Ashley Park, Lucas Bravo, and Camille Razat.
Actress Lily also confirmed filming for series three will begin in June, writing on Instagram: 'Reunited with my @emilyinparis! Can’t believe we got to close @paleycenter festival and cannot wait to start filming Season 3!…' (sic)
Although creator Darren didn't give much away about what fans can expect for series three, he did say: "We're always thinking about how we can show Paris. It's not hard to make Paris look amazing, because it is, from wherever you look or wherever you point the camera.
"We will always want the story to drive locations, but we have some really beautiful locations lined up for season three in France, not just in Paris."

Following the huge success of the first two series, Netflix bosses and the cast confirmed in January 2021 the show had been renewed for another two series.
Sharing a photo of herself wearing some Emily In Paris themed pyjamas, Lily said: 'Woke up early to give you some VERY exciting news… @emilyinparis is back for Season 3… AND wait for it, Season 4!!!!! I can’t tell if Emily would love or hate this announcement outfit but she’d be screaming either way. Truly love you all, thanks so much for the incredible support. Seriously cannot wait for more. Merci BOUCOUP!!…' (sic)
