Michelle Keegan drops ANOTHER major hint about return to Our Girl
The popular drama ended in 2020
Fans of BBC drama Our Girl were left devastated in 2020, when it was announced the series hadn't been renewed following the departure of main character Corporal Georgie Lane, played by actress Michelle Keegan.
However, despite Michelle leaving the show following the emotional series four finale in April 2020, it sounds like she has plans to return one day...
After revealing to the Radio Times last month that she loved playing the role, Michelle has now appeared on The One Show, where she also seemingly hinted she'd love to return one day.
She told the hosts: "I always get asked this actually and, you know what? I'll never say never.
"The door has been left open for her so, who knows? Maybe in a couple of years, we might see Georgie again. I loved playing Georgie and I love the show so who knows?"
Michelle's words arrive just weeks after she spoke to the Radio Times, with the 34-year-old saying: "I absolutely loved playing that role and I loved Our Girl, but I felt at the time that Georgie had completed her storyline.
"For four seasons she was mourning Elvis, or trying to get back with Elvis and, for me, the finale completed and concluded that whole four seasons, so I felt Georgie needed a break.
"She is still alive, so a few years down the line we could pick it back up again. I would love to do Our Girl again; people would love to see what Georgie is up to now."
After four amazing series, BBC bosses decided to cancel Our Girl, following Michelle's departure.
During an interview with Radio Times at the time, Our Girl creator Tony Grounds said: "With the finale of series four showing Georgie ready to move on with her life, it feels like the right time for us to do the same.
"Michelle and I are keen to continue our working relationship and, who knows, maybe we'll catch up with Georgie in the future. I wanted to say a big thank you to the fans of the show, it's been a joy to write."

Despite her success on the show, Michelle Keegan wasn't actually originally cast for the lead role.
Our Girl first hit our TV screens back in March 2013, with EastEnders actress Lacey Turner taking on the lead role as 18-year-old Molly Dawes.
Following the successful pilot series, Lacey left the show and Michelle Keegan joined as lead character Lance Corporal Georgie Lane, before going on to star in four successful series.
We can only pray the BBC change their minds and bring back Our Girl in the near future!🙏
