Royal Blood score fourth consecutive Number 1 album with 'Back to the Water Below'

Royal Blood have stormed to their fourth consecutive Number 1 album in the UK with their rip-roaring new record ‘Back to the Water Below.’
Featuring the Absolute Radio playlisted bangers ‘Mountains at Midnight’ and ‘Pull Me Through’, the 10-track ‘Back to the Water Below’ follows Royal Blood’s previous chart-toppers ‘Royal Blood’ (2014), ‘How Did We Get So Dark?’ (2017) and ‘Typhoons’ (2021).
Enthusing about their latest chart conquest, Royal Blood’s Mike Kerr and Ben Thatcher told the Official Charts Company: “To everyone that’s gone out and bought this record, streamed this record – whatever you’ve done to go and listen to it – thank you so much. This is f---ing incredible. We love you, thank you!”
Physical sales of ‘Back to the Water Below’ accounted for over 85% of the album’s opening week sales total.
The 31-minute record also tops the Official Vinyl Albums Chart, and the Official Record Store Chart as the most-purchased LP of the last seven days in the UK’s independent record shops.
