Noel Gallagher recording Oasis album without Liam
The 14 songs are previously unheard

Noel Gallagher says he’s planning to release an album of previously unheard Oasis material without his younger brother Liam Gallagher’s involvement.
The 53-year-old music icon says there are a total of 14 Oasis tracks he wrote in the 90s and 00s that “fell by the wayside” and never saw the light of day.
Noel is now planning to record the songs with a view to release them as an album.
"I've listed the proper songs and there were 14. They just fell by the wayside of various projects from down the years,” Noel explained.
"I'm going to record them. Some are quite old school. I was looking at the track listing and thinking, 'Actually, f**king hell, no I'd approach that song differently.'
"It's been very interesting."
Back in April, Noel Gallagher shared the previously unheard Oasis song ‘Don’t Stop’. The heartfelt acoustic song was written and sung by Noel and the lyrics were imbued with a message of hope.
True to form, immediately after the song’s premiere Liam Gallagher took to Twitter to have a dig at Noel.
When one fan tweeted “NOEL'S a little bit desperate at the moment... Thought he'd moved on from OASIS ???”, Liam replied (seemingly referencing Noel’s wife Sara MacDonald): “Exactly he’s desperate to get the band back together I know from a very very good source but the (witch image) is having none of it poor sod.”
Commenting on ‘Don’t Stop’, Liam continued: “Well there’s something missing in this god almighty stew and it’s your brother your brother don’t forget your brother La as you were LG x”
Oasis officially split in August 2009 just days after they aborted their headline appearance at V Festival in Chelmsford.
Despite numerous pleas (and insults) from Liam Gallagher, older brother Noel has so far refused to get involved with an Oasis reunion.
