Five Things We Don’t Know about you

I have a phobia of fish fingers!

I broke my left arm when I was 8 and can now bend my elbow back on itself...Ewww!

When I was 19 I was on Deal Or No Deal and won £50. It was the box I carried to the table, how unlucky! I framed the cheque along with my Noel Edmonds selfie.

I competed for Scotland in body painting.

When I was a kid, I was a massive fan of Peter Andre. A big fan of his work....and his pecs.

Career Highlight to Date?

Every day! It's a great job!

Your Favourite Scottish event of the year?

2014 was a big year for Glasgow. The Commonwealth Games was a major highlight for me. There was such a buzz at the station. I worked through the games reporting travel and still managed to see a lot of events, they brought so much recognition to our city.

If you could change one thing about Glasgow, what would it be?

The sun could come and visit us a little bit more and maybe even stay for a while???

What gives Glasgow its edge?

This is very cliché but the people really do make Glasgow, we have the best banter. Aye, we do aye.

What is your favourite band/music act of all time?

I actually don't have a favourite band or singer. My mum is into Frank Sinatra and George Michael, so I was listening to them from a young age, I have now been to Frank tributes and George's concerts, is that sad? I love Keane and Coldplay but my biggest love is dance music. From a young age I have liked different types of electronic dance tunes, my taste has changed a lot over the years but I still feel it gets the party started.

Which fashion accessory could you not live without?

I couldn't live without my watch, it helps with my timekeeping...most of the time. It's special because my mum gave it to me. I later found out she only gave me it because she got a new one but still, it is very sentimental.

What is Glasgow’s best kept secret?

I love music and there is a venue in Glasgow I don't talk about enough, some people till haven't even heard about it, I suppose that makes it a secret. It is a converted warehouse called SWG3 situated in the West End of Glasgow, just next to the Clydeside Expressway. I have been to some great gigs #raving

Who is the most interesting person you’ve interviewed and why?

Ed Sheeran. I was soooooo nervous and I even told him I was. I wish someone was there with me to tell me to calm down but he is massive time. It was a big deal to me!

If we gave you £1000, what would you spend it on?

I would devise a plan on how to turn the 1k into a billion then maybe try and take over the world. If the plan seems a bit far-fetched I would just go on holiday, you can't have too many holidays.

If you weren’t on the radio, what would you be doing?

I feel like I have landed my dream job however If I wasn't working at Clyde 1, I would have to say any job where I am getting paid to talk or daydream.
