How you can take part in Cash for Kids Day 2021!

The pandemic has devastated thousands of families across Northern Ireland, with the impact of reduced working hours, furlough and redundancy.

1 in 4 children are currently living in poverty here, something has to be done to help!

Our local people are really struggling and they need us now more than ever.

100% of all funds raised today on Cash for Kids Day, will be given straight back to our local young people, that so desperately need it.

Together we can provide children with food, heating, toiletries and clothing. A little can go a long way...

£20 will help feed a hungry child for a week during the school holidays

£35 will provide one child with essentials like food and warm clothing

£50 could fund a nutritious hamper for one family

£100 will funs a new set of clothes and shoes for a child in poverty

With your help we know that we can make great things happen!

This is our ninth annual Cash for Kids day and over the years we have helped thousands of families during tough physical, mental and financial hardships.

Northern Ireland's First Minister Arlene Foster summed it up well: "We all know the people of Northern Ireland are very generous when it comes to local young people, so I would very much endorse Cash for Kids again this year. I hope that people will get their money out and put their money into our young people, which is very important."

Deputy First Minister Michelle O'Neill added: "A huge well done to the station for all the work that's been done around Cash for Kids. People always support it, it's a really positive thing to do, particularly given the year it's been. Families are facing such hardship, we're asking people to dig deep and support what is a first class initiative."
