Meningitis Trust
The Meningitis Trust are hosting their Family Day with the support of Cash for Kids.
Meningitis Trust works to ensure that communities are aware of the symptoms of meningitis. They provide support to families who are living with the impact of meningitis for as long as they need it. Their services include counselling, financial grants, art therapy, family days and a 24hr helpline.
The Cash for Kids grant will be used to help run a family day for children aged between 3 – 12years old and their families. The fun day will include arts and crafts, football and other outdoor activities as well as a magic show. In addition to this, there will be workshops and discussion groups for parents, in order to make sure their support services can be easily accessed and they can avail of peer support from families in a similar position.
