Parents for Opportunities

The children supported by Parents for Opportunities are looking forward to their fun activities thanks to Cash for Kids

The children Parents for Opportunities support do not have one particular disability, some of them have Down syndrome, some have Cerebral Palsy and some have Autism. This means that the children aren't able to go out and socialise like other children their age, so this group gives them a chance to play together and have some fun. It is also a great place for the parents to get to know each other and help each other so that there is a support network around the families.

With the grant they received from Cash for Kids they will be able to organise monthly trips away to fun and exciting places like the zoo, bowling and the cinema or go out for a meal. They are also putting some of the money towards a trip to Scotland. This all means that the children can make new friends, interact with each other and be part of a social group.
