Move over Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande is the new QUEEN of Instagram 👑

Not a single day goes by without us spending hours scrolling through our Instagram feeds getting super jealous by all of our favourite celebrities showing off their glamours lifestyles. And whilst Selena Gomez has held the female crown of having the most followers for a while now, the singer has just been overtaken by none other than one of her Disney co-stars!

Introducing the brand new Queen of Instagram... Ariana Grande! 👑

Ariana, who dropped her massive new album 'Thank u, Next' earlier this month, has surpassed Selena's follower count. At the time of publication, Ariana has a massive 146,358, 640 followers, whilst Selena has 146,296,553.

Of course, Ariana is much more active on social media, sharing 3.943 photos, to Selena's 1,473.

Despite both Ariana and Selena having a ridiculous amount of followers, they aren't actually the most followed person on the site.

That goes to Juventus and Portugal footballer Cristiano Ronaldo, who has an insane 155, 933, 251 people following him! 😱

In other Ariana news, it was confirmed yesterday (Monday 25th February) that Ariana will be returning to Manchester in August to headline Manchester Pride Live.

It will be the first time Ariana has been to Manchester since the One Love Manchester concert in 2017, which raised millions of pounds for the victims of the Manchester bombing which tragically took the lives of 22 people on 22nd May 2017.
