Bruno Mars has opened up about what life is like without his mum, who suddenly died back in 2013.

The 'Marry You' singer told Latina magazine that he is still struggling to recover from the passing of his mum, Bernadette San Pedro Bayot.

He said, "My life has changed, she's more than my music. If I could trade music to have her back, I would."

The singer's mum passed away at the age of 55, just three weeks before the start of Bruno's world tour, Moonshine Jungle.

He tweeted his fans to thank them for their support shortly after the news came out back in June, 2013:

Bruno also admitted in the interview with Latina that he often hears his mum's voice saying to him, "Keep going and keep doing it."

The 31-year-old joined Beyonce and Coldplay at the Super Bowl 50 halftime show back in 2016.
