In an interview due to be shown tomorrow night TV presenter Davina McCall has admitted she is amazed that The Jump will be returning next year.

The show, which has celebrities competing against each other in winter sports, had a number of serious injuries this year, including Beth Tweddle breaking her neck and a total of seven celebrities withdrawing from the competition.

Speaking on The Jonathan Ross Show Davina said, "apparently people still want to do the show which is great."

However, when she was asked about whether she ever worried about the contestants injuring themselves seriously she replied,

"Obviously and if you think of anybody going away on a ski holiday for a week your chances of getting injured on that holiday are extremely high,

"these guys are out there for two months, skiing all day every day and then doing crazy things like The Skeleton."

She even admitted that she isn't allowed on skis, "They can’t have the presenter on crutches," she explained.

Davina joins Jamie Dornan, Rob Beckett and some of the cast from Stranger Things on Saturday's episode of The Jonathan Ross Show at 10.20pm on ITV.
