Mel B celebrated her 43rd birthday yesterday and messages of congratulations came from celebrities and fans including her former Spice Girl group mate, Geri Horner, who posted a cute photo of the pair from before they were famous.
Taking to Instagram to post the photo Geri said, 'Happy birthday @officialmelb ! This was taken just before we had any success ,when Mel lived with @melaniecmusic across the road from my mums house. #funtimes 😊'. sic
The photo showed the pair in the 90s with Geri wearing knee-high boots and a short black and white dress, whilst Mel B was wearing a blue crop top and loose, patterned trousers and silver sandals.
The photo was a hit with fans who left hundreds of comments saying, 'Dont forget where u come from ❤❤❤👌👌👌' sic, 'Queens!!' and '😍❤️'.
Others said they missed the Spice Girls, with one saying, 'Miss the spice girls:(😢😢😢😢' sic and a further fan saying, 'Girl power. Bring back the spice girls' sic

Earlier this year the former members of the Spice Girls got everyone super excited when they reunited at Geri's, with their former manager Simon Fuller. Posting a photo across their social channels the five former Spice Girls set rumours alight that there would be a reunion.
Since then the rumours have continued, with Mel B appearing on Loose Women earlier this month. She revealed that the former Spice Girls were, "in the works of figuring the stuff out." However she did confirm, "All five of us have signed with Simon Fuller. I can't say exactly what and when, but it's all very exciting."
And if that wasn't enough for fans, Mel B then explained, "It's going to be a bit of everything. If it was up to me, we'd go on tour immediately. Maybe we will soon... hopefully. I've always said we're definitely touring. I think I've just been nagging them all a bit too much! I stopped nagging and then they all said yes. I shut my mouth."
According to reports earlier this year, Mel C said that Victoria Beckham didn't want go ahead at this time. And as understandably they want the reunion to be all five of them, if one pulls out it would make a tricky situation.
The last time the Spice Girls reunited was at the London 2012 Olympics, when they performed on top of the iconic London black cabs.
