Jean Bernard Fernandez-Versini breaks his silence over Cheryl’s ‘pregnancy’

Cheryl’s ex-husband Jean Bernard Fernandez-Versini has broken his silence on her pregnancy rumours, admitting he discovered the news ‘through the media’.
Speaking for the first time since his public split with Cheryl, the French businessman revealed he heard through the news about his ex’s apparent pregnancy.

Speaking to ES Magazine he said, "Funnily enough the news was how I heard.” However, despite their split it seems Jean Bernard has no hard feelings towards Cheryl and stated, “It’s great to have babies. There are so many sad things these days, if everyone was creating life, the world would be a better place.”
Cheryl and Jean Bernard starting dating early 2014 and after just a few months married in July 2014 after a whirlwind romance. The romance was cut short when they split in August last year, with reports suggesting the language barrier was an issue between the pair.

After Cheryl moved on with One Direction star Liam Payne, the pair were granted a ‘quickie divorce’ at the Central Family Court in London back in October.
A statement released by Cheryl at the time read, “Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini have today obtained Decree Nisi in their divorce proceedings. No further comment will be made and they ask for their privacy to be respected."
At this time, rumours that Cheryl was expecting her first child with Liam really started to heat up.
Fans started to speculate when Liam changed his Twitter bio to 'luckiest man in the world' and Cheryl then appeared at a L'Oréal event with a small ‘bump’.
The rumours were then taken to another level when Cheryl's mum Joan was spotted buying pregnancy goods in Mothercare. And earlier in the month the happy couple seemed to ‘confirm’ the news when they stepped out hand in hand in London with Cheryl sporting a clear bump.
The pair attended the Quintessentially Foundation’s Annual Fayre of St James’ Church where Cheryl wore an open coat over a green knitted jumper as they walked into the church.

The pair are yet to officially confirm the reports but Cheryl does have something else to celebrate at the moment. Cheryl’s best friend and former Girls Aloud star Kimberley Walsh welcomed her second son with husband Justin Scott this week.
Pictures emerged on Twitter of Cheryl visiting Kimberley and her new baby boy, with the former X Factor judge wearing a large winter coat.
Liam and Cheryl are expected to spend their first Christmas together, with fans holding out for an official baby announcement.
