Could Kim and Kanye face jail time after leaking Taylor Swift phone call?

It has emerged that Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West could face jail time after Kim leaked a private phone call between her husband and Taylor Swift.
According to reports Taylor has now involved her lawyers after she was exposed and seemingly 'approved' the lyrics in Kanye's controversial song 'Famous'.
Although the video was filmed on Snapchat, Californian law states it is illegal to record a phone call without both parties’ consent. If the pair are found guilty, they could face up to three years in prison and be forced to pay numerous fines.
The video causing the all the drama shows Kanye on the phone to a female who sounds like Taylor where the rapper can be heard reading out his lyrics ‘I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex… I made that b**** famous’.
Kanye goes on to say “I mean it’s like a compliment” and admits Taylor’s feeling are more important than his lyrics. He can be heard saying “What I give a f*** about is just you as a person and as a friend, I want things that make you feel good I don’t want to do rap that makes people feel bad.”
The ‘Shake It Off’ singer then replies with “Go with whatever line you think is better. It’s obviously very tongue and cheek either way. And I really appreciate you telling me about it, that’s really nice! I’m glad you had the respect to call me that and tell me that as a friend, about the song”.
Despite the female sounding like Taylor, the singer continues to deny that she approved the lyrics. Shortly after Kim posted the vid, the 26-year-old took to social media to defend herself in an anger fuelled rant. Taylor captioned the post with 'That moment when Kanye West secretly records your phone call, then Kim posts it on the Internet'.

The feud split opinions on Twitter yesterday with some fans taking Taylor’s side and others taking Kimye’s side. The hashtag #KimExposedTaylorParty then started trending.
Neither Kim or Kanye have responded to the rumours that they could face jail time, let’s just hope they have a good lawyer!
