Rebekah and Jamie Vardy welcome second child together

Footballer Jamie Vardy and his wife Rebekah have welcomed their second child together, a healthy baby boy.
The England striker took to Twitter to announce the news that his son made an early arrival on Sunday 8th January at 8.59pm. He wrote, ‘Over the moon to announce the arrival of our gorgeous little boy on Sunday evening! Mummy and baby doing great!’
The new arrival is the couple’s second child together, they also have 22 month-old daughter Sofia.
Both parents also have children from former relationships. Rebekah has two other children, 11-year-old Megan and six-year-old Taylor and Jamie has a six-year-old daughter called Ella.
Rebekah revealed she was expecting a boy during her baby shower back in December. Speaking at the time she described it as the ‘biggest secret’ she’s had to keep. She also admitted that her friends were in shock at the news, due to them all being convinced she would be having another girl.
She told OK! Magazine, “Megs had a face on because she wanted another sister, but I said to her, ‘You’ve already got one sister so this boy will even things out."
Rebekah and Jamie met in 2014 and tied the knot during a lavish ceremony at Peckforton Castle in the summer of 2016.
The proud parents are yet to reveal a name for their new arrival or share any photos of their new born son.
