Ever since Ant McPartlin announced the devastating news that he'd split up from his wife Lisa Armstrong, rumours have been rife that he's been getting on very well with former Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt.

Despite Scarlett having a new boyfriend, rumours have continued to spread about their apparent relationship, but now it looks like Scarlett has shut them down once and for all.

Speaking ahead of the brand new series of Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway, presenter Scarlett revealed she sees Ant like a 'brother'.

Referring to Ant, Dec and Stephen Mulhern, Scarlett said, "They’re like the brothers I never had. They’re genuinely lovely, down to earth people who offer me a lot of brilliant career advice."

Scarlett first met Ant when she appeared on and became champion of the 2016 series of I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.

Following her victory, Scarlett landed herself a job on the Geordie duo's popular show, Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway, before joining the boys out in Australia to host I'm A Celebrity: Extra Camp alongside Joel Dommett and Joe Swash.

Despite rumours of a romance with Ant, Scarlett introduced her new boyfriend Lee Wilkinson to her Instagram followers earlier this month.

Sharing a photo of herself and Lee looking very cosy, Scarlett wrote, 'It’s good to be back in the toon @malmaisonhotels & @thebotanistuk ❤️😍 #datenight'. sic

Meanwhile, Ant confirmed the sad news that he's set to divorce his wife of 11 years, Lisa Armstrong.

A statement to the Mirror read, "In response to the recent speculation in the media, Ant is very sad to announce that, after 11 years, he is ending his marriage to Lisa McPartlin.

“Ant asks for privacy at this difficult time, for both himself, Lisa and their immediate families.

"No further statement will be made."
