Tara Palmer-Tomkinson, aged 45, has been found dead in her London flat.
The former It girl had recently revealed a year-long battle with a brain tumour. A former contestant of I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, doctors apparently discovered the tumour in January 2016.
A police spokesperson said: “Police were called by London Ambulance Service at approximately 13:40hrs on Wednesday, 8 February to an address in Bramham Gardens, SW5.
"A woman, aged in her 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene. Next of kin have been informed.
"Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing. The Coroner has been informed."
Known for her wild ways and lavish lifestyle, Tara was a regular on the London party scene throughout the nineties and noughties.
