Taylor Swift blasts Kim Kardashian for accusing her of ‘lying’ about Kanye West lyrics
Kim is not happy with Swifty!
Kim Kardashian has come under fire from Taylor Swift after suggesting the singer did in fact approve Kanye West’s controversial lyrics for his track ‘Famous’.
Following their long running dispute which all started during that awkward Video Music Awards moment, Kanye dissed Swifty in the controversial song. The song ‘Famous’ which was released earlier in the year, includes the line “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex. Why? I made that b**** famous.”
Standing up for her husband, Kim recently criticised the ‘Blank Space’ singer insisting she ‘totally knew’ about the lyrics and promised to have a joke about them at the Grammy Awards earlier in the year.
In a recent interview, the reality star slammed the singer for her Grammy acceptance speech and admitted that during a phone call between Kanye and Taylor, Tay said “When I get on the Grammy red carpet, all the media is going to think that I’m so against this, and I’ll just laugh and say ‘The joke’s on you guys, I was in on it the whole time’.”
Despite this, Tay has now responded to Kim’s comments in a statement from her spokesperson. “Taylor does not hold anything against Kim Kardashian as she recognises the pressure Kim must be under that she is only repeating what she has been told by Kanye West. However, that does not change the fact that much of what Kim is saying is incorrect.”
They went on to add Taylor has spoken with the rapper and revealed he asked her to promote the track to her 78 million Twitter followers. However, after declining the offer Tay’s rep admitted she never actually ‘approved’ the track.

The statement went on to read “Kanye West never told Taylor he was going to use the term, ‘that b****’ in referencing her. A song cannot be approved if it was never heard. Kanye West never played the song for Taylor Swift. When she finally heard it, she was left humiliated.”
It turns out Taylor would like the Kardashian-West family to just ‘leave her alone’.
