Irish band The Script delighted fans in October 2019 by announcing a massive UK tour for 2020 and now the band have started, already performing in a number of cities.

The band, made up of Danny O'Donoghue, Mark Sheehan, and Glen Power, will continue to perform across the UK & Ireland throughout February and March, including shows in Belfast, Dublin, Sheffield, Birmingham, London, Nottingham, Cardiff, Glasgow, Aberdeen and Newcastle.

Who is supporting The Script on their 2020 tour?

Just days after announcing their 2020 tour, The Script announced that Becky Hill would be supporting them in the UK and Ireland. Fans will remember that Danny coached Becky when he was her mentor on The Voice in 2012, so it's a nice moment for them to work together again.

Reacting to the news on Twitter, 'Wish You Well' singer Becky wrote, 'full circle moment for me as i’ll be joining @thescript on their 21 date uk & european tour in 2020!! make sure u get down early to see my set, thank u so much for having me!!'. (sic)

After forming in 2007, the popular Irish band released their debut album one year later, hitting the top of the charts in the UK. They went on to become massively successful, releasing songs like 'We Cry', 'Man Who Can't Be Moved', and 'Rain'.

In 2019, The Script released their amazing new single 'The Last Time', which is the lead single from their new album.
