After months of rumours and speculation it's now official, Westlife are back!

Nicky Byrne, Kian Egan, Mark Feehily and Shane Filan will reunite, without former member Brian McFadden, to celebrate the groups 20th anniversary.

The band have sent fans into a frenzy after confirming their highly anticipated reunion after six years apart on social media.

It looks as though 'Shape of You' singer, Ed Sheeran, will be penning their comeback single.

The band are reportedly set to play a gig at Croke Park next year.

Westlife first started out in 1998 with a string on Number 1 songs in 1999 such as 'Swear It Again', 'If I Let You Go' and 'Flying Without Wings', to name just a few. Their huge success continued into the 2000s, however Brian McFadden left the band in 2004. Following Brian's departure, the group went on to release six more albums adding to the massive success they had as a five-piece.

During their incredibly successful years, Westlife sold a massive 40 million studio albums worldwide and had 14 Number 1 singles in the UK.
