Following yesterday's announcement that Ant McPartlin will step down from all TV duties to go back into rehab after he was held on suspicion of drink driving, ITV have now announced what will replace this weekend's episode of Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway.

The popular show, hosted by Ant and Dec, will NOT be aired this weekend, with bosses at ITV reviewing options for the final two episodes of the series.

Instead of the popular show airing at 7pm as usual, The Voice UK has now been brought forward from its original time of 8.30pm, to 7pm. Keith Lemon's Through the Keyhole will then follow at 9pm, with the ITV News scheduled in for 10pm.

Action blockbuster Fast & Furious 5 will then be aired shorty after at 10.15pm.

The news comes after ITV released an official statement confirming Ant has decided to go back into rehab to receive more treatment for his addictions.

The statement read, "Ant has decided to go back into treatment and step down from his current TV commitments. He has spoken with Dec and ITV today and asked for time off for the foreseeable future.

"ITV has taken a joint decision with Ant and Dec’s team not to broadcast Saturday Night Takeaway this weekend. We will be reviewing options for the last two episodes of the series which would not feature Ant who is taking time off to seek treatment. We very much hope that he gets the help that he needs."

Although it hasn't yet been confirmed, fans of the popular Saturday night entertainment show have been calling out for Scarlett Moffatt to replace Ant, alongside Dec Donnelly.

One Twitter user said, 'With Ant getting in trouble with the law, maybe and 'ant and dec's saturday night takeaway' will be Dec and Scarlett...' with another claiming, 'Scarlett might step in. Could be the end of Ant & Dec.' sic

This all comes after Ant was being held on suspicion of drink driving over the weekend. Metropolitan Police were called to an area in south west London at around 4pm on the 18th March after a crash involving three vehicles.
