Despite ITV confirming Ant McPartlin will not be hosting the final two shows of Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway alongside Dec Donnelly, it has been revealed that Ant will still feature on the show.

New reports suggest the popular 'Saturday Knight Takeaway' sketch will still go ahead on Saturday night's episode. And as the sketch was filmed in advance, Ant is set to still appear.

The popular sketch sees both Ant and Dec investigate the identity of 'The Overlord', after a number of celebrities disappeared. As the sketch is loved by viewers and follows on in a series, bosses have reportedly decided to keep the feature in the show.

The news comes after Dec confirmed the final two episodes of Saturday Night Takeaway will still be going ahead, despite Ant's arrest.

Taking to Twitter, Dec wrote, 'Whilst I never thought I'd be in this position, after much discussion and careful consideration we've decided that the remaining two shows of this series of Saturday Night Takeaway will go ahead.

'We made a promise to take hundreds of deserving winners to Florida to watch the series finale, and we will honour that. Everyone at ITV and the Takeaway team feels we owe it to the audience to complete the series. Dec x' sic

Although it isn't yet clear if Dec will be hosting the show on his own, the celebrity guests for this week's show have now been revealed.

Stephen Merchant will be the Star Guest Announcer, with Paloma Faith performing for the End of the Show Show. Irish band The Script will also be on hand to perform in the 'Singalong Live!' part of the show.

With Scarlett Moffatt and Stephen Mulhern sticking with their usual roles, rumours are rife that James Corden could be on hand to assist Dec in the final episode in Florida next week.

It comes after ITV released a statement confirming Ant will be returning to rehab to get treatment for his addictions. After being arrested and later charged with drink driving, ITV confirmed Ant has decided to step down from all TV duties for the foreseeable future.

The statement read, "Ant has decided to go back into treatment and step down from his current TV commitments. He has spoken with Dec and ITV today and asked for time off for the foreseeable future."

Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway will return to ITV at 7pm on Saturday 31st March.
