Derry Girls is finally coming to Netflix next month

Good news for fans of Channel 4's hit Northern Irish comedy show Derry Girls.
Netflix has announced that season one of the Lisa McGee-written series will arrive on the global streaming platform on May 8 after they secured the Irish and English streaming rights.
Following the finale for the brilliant second series, Channel 4 announced that it will be returning for a third season in 2020 with six episodes commissioned.
The show had only previously been available to other Netflix viewers in the US and around the world.
Derry Girls’ second series was another smash hit, with an average 1.8 million people tuning in to watch the opening episode.
