One of the things we love most in the world is a celeb transformation. They're fascinating. So when we heard that 'Tesco' Mary Byrne from The X Factor's 2010 series had undergone a MAJOR look overhaul, we just had to get a look.

It's pretty safe to say that 'Tesco' Mary was one of the most beloved X Factor contestants of all time - she wasn't quite Susan Boyle material, but no-one was expecting her to have such a beautiful voice when she stepped onto the stage with her signature fringe.

Since leaving the show, the Irish songstress has enjoyed success with FOUR studio albums - and appeared on Loose Women earlier today to not only discuss the new series but also to show off her brand new look.

Ditching her natural brunette locks, Mary is now a blonde with a much shorter crop. But it's not just her hair that's different, as Mary revealed she's lost a whopping four-and-a-half stone in weight.

Confessing that it was down to her health, Mary revealed she'd been diagnosed with chronic arthritis which had been improved by the weight loss, adding that she'd decided to "do something about" her weight after failing health.

The former checkout assistant also revealed that she's kept in touch with her fellow X Factor alumni, saying, "I’m still good friends with Wagner on Facebook, he’s a great guy. People said he was this and that but people didn’t know him."

She's also pals with none other than Harry Styles, "I’m still in contact with Harry but not so much now because he’s become very big."

She looks AMAZING - well done Mary!
