Boojum to giveaway 5,000 burritos for Belfast Freshers

Student favourite Mexican food chain, Boojum, is once again giving away 5,000 free burritos this Thursday 21st September to Belfast students as part of their 2023 Freshers campaign.

Following phenomenal success last year, the ‘Buy One Bank One’ promotion will allow all those with a valid student ID to avail of a free Boojum at a later date when they purchase any main meal in store on that date.

In total, 15,000 vouchers will be distributed across the chain’s 14 outlets for one day only to celebrate their biggest campaign of the year.

2023 will see the launch of their ‘Would You Rather’ campaign which will send one student and a friend away on a holiday of a lifetime to Mexico, with everything from flights, accommodation, and the itinerary designed by the student themselves.

With the cost of living continually on the rise, the burrito joint recognises just how increasingly tight the student budget is becoming and wants to give a holiday to someone who may not have been able to even consider one otherwise due to rising costs.

Managing Director at Boojum, David Maxwell said: “Freshers is an important date in the Boojum calendar, and we are always delighted to see lots of familiar faces come through our doors after the summer break, as well as lots of new ones eager to try their first Boojum. We do not take our customers loyalty for granted, and that is why we want to reward them by giving them their next burrito on us.”

As well as our exciting giveaway of an all-expenses paid trip to Mexico for one lucky student and a friend, ‘Buy One Bank One’ allows for everyone to receive a gift from Boojum as a thank you for their continued support.
