Popular Ballymena bakery set to open new store in Belfast

One of Ballymena's 'not so hidden' gems, Dougies Goodies, has announced it will be opening a new store in Belfast soon.

The bakery is best known locally for its speciality cakes and wide selection of buns, baked goods and sweet treats.

Belfast comedian Ciarán Bartlett is a fan of Dougies Goodies, a video on him chatting about their Chocolate french fancies on the Tea With Me podcast has over 656k views on TikTok.

Sharing the news on social media this week, a message from the store reads: "Belfast, we heard you and we’re coming! Prepare your taste buds for Dougies Goodies! 💕🍰 Stay Tuned!"

An exact location hasn't been announced just yet for their Belfast branch, but we'll keep you posted!
