It is no secret that Northern Ireland is home to some of the most beautiful landscapes and charming country villages. It seems like it's not just us that appreciate it.

The Times has published a list of the 50 best villages in the UK, and, unsurprisingly, three from Northern Ireland have made the list.

The list was compiled to recognise how the UK's villages have survived and thrived over the years.

Cushendall in Co Antrim, Helen's Bay in Co Down, and Strangford, Co Down made the list.

Home to some of the most impressive Game of Thrones filming locations, the HUGE success of the HBO show helped put Northern Ireland on the map.

NI's villages offer a diverse range of attractions, from summer festivals to quirky homes and bustling market towns.

Where would you recommend as one of Northern Ireland's best villages?
