Tayto Park: We try out the new "Viking Voyage"
Tayto Park has launched it's newest attraction, the 'Viking Voyage.'
The €8m ride is the country's largest water ride.
The park sought the help of Viking experts from Sweden to make sure the themed ride was perfectly authentic.
Visitors are whisked at 60mph around 700m of track, taking about 5 minutes in total and encompassing three drops.
It mixes the thrill of a theme park ride with fun aspects that all the family can enjoy, meaning its perfect for all ages.
Tayto Park founder Raymond Coyle was on hand to officially open the water ride.
‘’Tayto Park is all about wowing our guests and our mission is to continue to entertain and to bring bespoke attractions to the Irish market,” he said.
“The Viking Voyage at The Park is a great addition and will enhance the overall family fun experience at Tayto Park.
"Our aim is to make a day out in Tayto Park a memorable one for all of our guests, young and old."
