Author: Emma DicksonPublished 13th May 2022

Our top tip for visiting the Balmoral Show...arrive on an empty stomach!

Celebrating the very best local produce, brands and businesses, you could easily eat your way around the bustling site in Lisburn.

Northern Ireland's very best food producers can be found inside the NI Food Pavilion, plus there's a host of pop-up shops and food trucks set-up across the site.

There's honestly something for everything to enjoy, from homemade ice cream to gourmet burgers and loaded fries.

We've spent the first few days exploring and testing as much as we possibly can, so we can bring you our best foodie highlights. It's a hard job, but someone has to do it 🤣

CAUTION: You will be hungry after reading this 👇

Glaze and Roll

Now this is artisan street food with a difference. We're talking loaded fries, chicken tacos and beef brisket 🥰 The hard part is picking just one option on the menu

Brennan's Ice Cream

Nothing beats an ice cream in the sun, and there's plenty of ice cream vans dotted across the Balmoral site. Brennan's is a Co Down favourite, and they're located just beside our Downtown Show Stage with Randox Health, so be sure to pop down and say hello

Pizza Umamipie

Two words - Sourdough Pizzas! How incredible do these pizzas look, perfect for sharing with the kiddos or devouring on your own as you explore the show

Hotties Chocolate

If you caught in the rain, there's no better way to warm up than with a yummy cup of hot chocolate. Hottie's have a beautiful display in the NI Food Pavilion, where they're sampling their yummy hot choc.

The Hatch

One of Co. Down's best street food trucks is parked up just beside the Food Pavilion, you can't miss it! Serving up showstopping burgers, LOADED FRIES, breakfast baps and kiddies meals too. You should really try their signature CHEESY gravy chips with homemade southern chicken gravy.

Crepes

Nothing says a day at the fair, quite like a toasty crepe filled with lashings of Nutella and strawberries. These guys are parked up just beside our Downtown Show Stage with Randox Health too.
