Excitement is building across Northern Ireland for global superstar Ed Sheeran's epic Mathematics Tour at Boucher Road Playing Fields on Thursday and Friday.

Over 80,000 fans, come rain or shine, will be rocking out to Bad Habits and Galway Girl under the night sky and Black Mountain backdrop.

The stage is 360 degrees in the round, so everyone in the crowd will be fully immersed in the concert.

Thursday night's show will be recorded for a major awards night in the US - the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas.

Superintendent Amanda Ford said: "With 80,000 people attending the event, we are asking everyone if you are driving to the event, park in the city centre, walk to the event where you can or use the transportation that is available through Translink and Metro.

“We want people to stay safe, to enjoy the event and to do so responsibly."

To gain access to the concert you are required to bring your fully charged mobile phone - all tickets are digital.

There will be no ATM facilities available within the concert site - some of the retail outlets for food & beverages do not accept card payments.
