10 events you don't want to miss this November in Belfast

As the days get shorter and the evenings get darker, it's all to easy to head home after work and cosy up in front of the evening.

But there's still plenty of events running in and around Belfast in November.

We've pieced together a fun list of activities that should help keep you and your friends/family occupied until December.

Lavery’s Comedy Club

Be there or be square for a comedy-filled night at Lavery's with Colin Geddis creating a night you won't forget. Make your way to the middle floor of Lavery's for an rib-tickling evening you will not want to miss.

Mamma Mia Christmas Party

Set sail on the Belfast Barge to immerse yourself in some Mamma Mia fun where you will enjoy some canapes and prosecco on arrival, a carvery dinner and an immersive Mamma Mia tribute show and live DJ.
The barge sets sail on the 27th and 28th of November. You must be over 18 to attend.

Disney on Ice - 100 Years of Wonder

Celebrate 100 years of Dicney at the SSE with Disney on Ice. Watch all of your favourite Disney characters from Encanto, Toy Story, Moana and Frozen skate by in a magican night of wonder.

Empire Laughs Back

Your Tuesday nights of tittering return with the Empire laughs back. A night that will have you screaming with laughter with fantastic acts from across Ireland, the UK and an international comedy circuit. You are guaranteed a free pint of hap on entry to laugh the night away.

Belfast Continental Christmas Market

Get ready for Dutch pancakes and mulled wine because the Belfast Christmas markets are back and celebrating their 18th birthday.

On the 18th of November head to City Hall with over 100 international and local traders offering delicious, tasty treats and handcrafted gifts. There is something for everyone to enjoy of all ages. Bring children to visit Santa in his grotto, ride the carousel or slide down the helter-skelter. You won't want to leave.

Candlelight Concert

A beautiful experience with a variety of shows dedicated to so many composers and musicians. Experience the work of Hans Zimmer's best work, Taylor Swift, Queen, Coldplay and more in a setting you will never forget.

C.S. Lewis Festival

On the 24th – 26th immerse yourself in the Land of Narnia, taking part in family-friendly events, including a White Witch storytelling, sensory activities, Narnia-themed markets, C.S. Lewis walking tour and a Christmas Light switch on at C.S. Lewis square.

Wine and Cheese Festival

Take part in a relaxing wine and cheese festival afternoon at the Bowery on Saturday 25th November. From 12 noon – 4:30 pm explore the taste of 150 wines from across the world, paired beautifully with live music and food throughout the afternoon.

Festival of New Writing

A two-day festival beginning on the 10th of November, of short plays and writing on a large range of themes from drama, comedy, and social commentary.

Acoustic Picnic at the Oh Yeah Music Centre

A monthly favourite for families on the 11th of November. A day filled with art, music, and dance. This event lets families enjoy a space to come together, bring a picnic and enjoy a live atmosphere with live music and fun activities.
