The European Heritage Open Days event is back, now in its 21st year. Over 300 properties and venues from County Down to County Londonderry will open their doors to the public for no cost.
If you're lucky enough you might snap up some FREE places.
Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge - Special Interest Guided Tour
Discover the rich history where fishermen first erected a bridge in 1755, then a single hand-rope bridge, to access the island known as the ‘Rock in the Road’. Spectacular coastal views. Giant’s Causeway Visitor Experience - Architectural Interest Tour

Ulster Museum
Come face to face with dinosaurs, meet an Egyptian Mummy and see modern masterpieces with a free visit to the Ulster Museum. Sat & Sun 10:00 - 17:00.
Belfast Castle
Belfast Castle is a sandstone building on the slopes of Cave Hill and once was the family home to the Donegall family. Steeped in history, character and charm, this magnificent building is a "must see" for every visitor. Sat 09:00 - 13:00 & Sun 09:00 - 17:00.
Downpatrick and County Down Railway - Exclusive Cab Rides
Free access to carriage gallery and the chance for exclusive cab rides (places are limited). Steam trains are still running to and from Inch Abbey as usual. Sat 12:30 - 17:00 & Sun 12:00 - 17:30.
