Never Be Lonely' DJ Jax Jones has announced a surprise FREE pop-up gig in Belfast this weekend!

📍 Friday 26th April - Southside Social, Belfast

Earlier this month Jax delighted fans by announcing a FREE gig in Newcastle, which sold out in just one minute, but sadly he had to postpone it due to the flooding in Dubai.

The DJ took to Instagram to share an update with his fans, where he explained the situation, which included his young family being stranded in the airport for 18 hours, saying: "Right guys, we've got a situation and it's bad news regarding the pop up in Newcastle this weekend. I'm going to have to postpone the date.

"Let me tell you why... I was flying back from Bangkok via Dubai and when we landed we were hit with crazy flooding, which you've probably been seeing on the news, and alright, flooding in Dubai... must be kidding bro! Listen, I've seen cars floating down the streets, plans grounded, thousands of people stranded in the airport, including me and family.

"We didn't have a hotel to get to as it was surrounded by water and I have a one-year-old and a three-year-old daughter, we were stuck in that airport for 18 hours with nowhere to sleep. It's just not our finest hour.

"The airport is still chaos, but I'm grateful we're safe now and I've managed to find a different route home from another airport tomorrow. I'll still be at the Liverpool show but I just won't make it back in time for the Newcastle show. I'm gutted and I'm really sorry it's like this. Honestly, the energy from you guys has been incredible. It's got me so excited to be playing shows again, so I thank you, please be patient.

"I'm going to reschedule it and hopefully we can just run it in a couple of weeks with the same line-ups. I'm checking with them now. We can't let a little bit of rain stop us from throwing this party. I'll update you when I have more news. so keep an eye on my page or sign up to my mailing list, but for now I'm sorry to do this, I'm literally stranded in Dubai."

The DJ, who is known for his hits such as 'Where Did You Go?', and 'Whistle', with Calum Scott, confirmed the gig in Liverpool on Saturday 20th April would still go ahead, and now he's announced two more shows in Manchester and Belfast.
