In news we’ve ALL been waiting for the Spice Girls are REUNITING and they have announced a Dublin show for 2019! After all the rumours the girls are heading back on the road – minus Victoria Beckham.

Ginger Spice Geri Horner, Sporty Spice Mel C, Baby Spice Emma Bunton and Scary Spice Mel B will become the first girl group to headline Croke Park on Friday 24 May 2019, tickets go on sale Thursday 22 November at 9am.

It is a decade since the world’s biggest girl band toured – and 21 years since their last Irish show.

And if that wasn’t enough, the Spice Girls will be supported by the amazing Jess Glynne, who’s had hits including ‘Hold My Hand’, ‘I’ll Be There’ and her current song ‘Thursday’.

Because of her business commitments Victoria won’t be joining the girls on tour, but will always be one of the Spice Girls and remains aligned with Emma, Mel B, Melanie C and Geri in preserving their unique legacy.

Melanie Brown (Scary Spice), Melanie Chisholm (Sporty Spice), Emma Bunton (Baby Spice), Geri Horner, (Ginger Spice), and Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice), might have only released 11 singles (including two double A-sides), but they had HUGE success around the world, with nine of the Spice Girls' songs and two of their albums going to Number 1 in the UK.

Some of their best-selling hits include their very memorable debut hit 'Wannabe' in 1996 and their penultimate release in 2000, 'Holler'/'Let Love Lead The Way'.

The Spice Girls formed in 1994 as a group of five and had numerous Number 1 singles and albums, including three Christmas Number 1 singles, a film and many world tours. Despite their dubious hairstyles, multiple BRIT Awards and they definitely made a mark in the 90s.
