American mega yacht 'Liquid Rehab' drops anchor in Portrush

You never know who you will bump into when visiting the port, especially with some of Hollywood hottest stars currently filming in Belfast.
But it's not every day you see a luxury super yacht sailing past Ramore Head!
'Liquid Rehab' is currently anchored off The Skerries, just north of Portrush. This huge three-decked craft cruises at 24 knots and has a top speed of 28 knots. It sleeps up to 10 guests and has a crew of seven.
But who owns this incredible yacht? Liquid Rehab is owned by Kevin Martyn, a pharmaceutical millionaire from the US. The super yacht is captained by Jameson Cooper, from North Palm Beach in Florida.
They first docked in Belfast Lough beside the SSE Arena, having arrived from Inverness last week. They then stopped off in Bangor Marina, as members of the Royal Ulster Yacht Club welcomed the guests and captain for lunch in the clubhouse.
With so much to see and do here in Northern Ireland, we're not surprised the world's wealthiest are visiting our 'wee' hidden gem.
Just last month Grey's Anatomy heart-throb Patrick Dempsey snapped a pic at one of Northern Ireland's most iconic landmarks - Mussenden Temple.
He's currently shooting co-star Amy Adams the sequel to Disney's 2007'sEnchanted in Co. Wicklow.

The cast of Conversations with Friends
Following the success of Sally Rooney's Normal People in 2020, her debut novel Conversations with Friends is also being produced for the screen. A number of actors have now been cast for Conversations With Friends, including Sasha Blane and Taylor Swift's boyfriend Joe Alwyn. Could we spot Taylor on the cobbled Cathedral Quarter some time soon...fingers crossed! The cast are also filming in Carrickfergus at the minute, this time in a church. There must be something in the water there!
Kerry Washington stars in The School for Good and Evil
It seems Scandal star Kerry Washington has also fallen for our north coast. She took a break from filming in Titanic Studios to visit the blustery Giant's Causeway recently.

Regé-Jean Page and Hugh Grant are filming Dungeons and Dragons
Bridgerton duke Regé-Jean Page and Bridget Jone's hunk Hugh Grant were spotted filming the fantasy remake Dungeons and Dragons at Ballintoy Harbour, Carrickfergus Castle and Belfast's Titanic Studios.
Patrick Dempsey stars in Disenchanted
Patrick's trip to the Causeway coast took NI by storm! He's now travelled down to Co. Wicklow to start shooting his upcoming Disney sequel, Disenchanted. Alongside Amy Adams as Giselle, Dempsey return as the grumpy divorce lawyer Robert Philip.
