Funeral for man who died after falling from Larne bonfire to take place on Thursday
A JustGiving page was set up to help the family of John Steele pay for the funeral.
The funeral of John Steele will take place on Thursday after he fell to his death from a bonfire in Larne.
Mr Steele was helping at a bonfire site in the Antiville estate on Saturday when the incident happened.
It's understood the structure was more than 50ft tall.#
The notice in Funeral Times reads: "9th July, 2022 suddenly. Dearly loved son of Jackie and Artie, brother to Catherine. Dear father to Caitlyn and Macy-Lee. Also uncle to Stephen.
"Service on Thursday 14th July at 2.00pm in his home, 6 Lindara Drive, Larne. Funeral afterwards to Larne Cemetery.
"Will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his loving family."
