Man arrested in connection with attempted murder of two police officers
The 59 year old suspect was arrested this morning
A 59-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the attempted murder of two police officers in Strabane last November.
He was arrested on Thursday 16 November in the Strabane area, under the Terrorism Act and has been taken to Musgrave Serious Crime Suite for questioning police have said.
The targeted attack took place shortly before 11pm on Thursday, November 17 2022, when an improvised explosive device caused damage to a police vehicle.
The PSNI said the investigation into this attack continues and have appealed to anyone with information to contact them on 101.
