Man charged over shots fired at Larne house

A 30-year-old man has been charged with a number of offences including attempted murder after shots were fired at a house in Larne in the early hours of Monday morning.

It has been reported that three children were asleep in the house in the Brustin Brae area at the time of the attack.

A car was also set on fire during that incident.

The man has also been accused of hijacking and aggravated vehicle taking.

He is also facing charges of attempted aggravated burglary and possession of an offensive weapon in the Antrim area on Friday 18 August and with criminal damage and possession of an offensive weapon at Victoria Road in Larne on Tuesday 29 August.

A 30-year-old woman has been charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice over the incident in Larne on Monday.
