Murder investigation launched following Ballymena stabbing
A 51 year old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder
Police have launched a murder investigation after a man was fatally stabbed in Ballymena.
It happened at a property on the Galgorm Road yesterday afternoon.
The 67 year old victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 36 year old man was also taken to hospital for injuries which police say aren’t believed to be life threatening.
A 51 year old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder.
A PSNI statement said, "Police are appealing for anyone who was on Galgorm Road on Saturday afternoon and who witnessed the incident or anyone with any information that can assist with the investigation to contact detectives on 101."
"Alternatively, information can be passed anonymously to Crimestoppers."
