Northern Ireland boss Michael O'Neill has condemned recent sectarian chants from fans in a pub.

A video emerged on Monday after Northern Ireland beat Belarus 2-1, in a European Championship qualifier at Windsor.

Politicians and the IFA blasted the video and the PSNI announced it is investigating the 20-second footage, thought to have been shot in a Belfast bar.

Speaking at the launch of the McDonald's Fun Football initiative, O'Neill said the video represented a small number of Northern Ireland fans.

"It's unnecessary, there's no place for that kind of behaviour.

"It's one or two mindless idiots and not a reflection on 99.9% of the support," he said.

He added: "The Northern Ireland team is for everyone and that's the message, we're stronger together and we'll continue in that vein."
