Stolen vehicle crashes into garden fence

A PSNI spokesperson said it was an extremely reckless incident

Police in Londonderry say they are investigating after a stolen vehicle was found abandoned, having crashed into a garden fence early on Wednesday morning.

The incident in Derry's Linsfort Drive in the Creggan area was reported to the PSNI just after 7:30AM.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "We have not received any reports of any injuries, at this time, however, this was an extremely reckless incident causing damage to a garden fence.

"Anyone who was up and about, or out in the area, could have been caught up in this and injured.
