Yellow weather warnings issued for Northern Ireland

The Met Office alerts are for wind and rain

Yellow weather warnings have been issued by the Met Office for tomorrow (Saturday).

An alert for rain is in place from 6am until 7pm and covers Counties Antrim, Down, Londonderry and Tyrone.

Meanwhile, a warning for wind is in place from 9am until 11:45pm across counties Antrim, Armagh, Down, Fermanagh and Tyrone.

☔What to expect 🌬

Strong winds may lead to some transport disruption including delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport.

Some short-term loss of power and other services is possible.

It is also possible that some coastal routes, sea fronts and coastal communities will be affected by spray and/or large waves.
