Another dry and warm spell could be on the cards, with temperatures soaring into the mid-twenties next week, according to the Met Office.

"There will be a good deal of dry weather with sunny spells. The end of June and beginning of July will most likely remain overall drier and warmer than average."

The improvement begins this weekend with temperatures rising through Saturday and Sunday.

The start of next week will be dry and warm in many areas with sunny spells.

Temperatures will range from 19 to 24 degrees with the best of any sunshine across southern and eastern counties. Feeling cooler along the coasts.
