About Hix
Hix hosts the evening show ‘Hits NI’ from 7-10pm and the NI Hit 40 on Sunday’s from 4pm, where he counts down the most streamed, watched, Shazammed and downloaded songs in Northern Ireland each week.
Hix has his pulse on the hottest new artists and tracks to look out for, also known as his ‘Future Breakers’.
During lockdown, Hix had some more free time after gigs got cancelled globally, he started to produce and create his own music. His hard worked paid off, getting signed to Warner Records. Hix dropped his debut single ‘Hold You’ featuring Jessica Hammond earlier this year, it’s the ultimate summer tune!
Hix still hosts his own residencies across Northern Ireland as well as featuring on KISSTORY.
When he’s not making music or hosting on Cool, Hix spends time with his wife Olivia and two children.
